Property litigation

We discuss and identify our clients’ needs at the outset in order to manage risk and prepare a robust strategy for an existing, potential or future dispute.

We discuss and identify our client’s needs from the start to manage risk and expectations and to prepare a robust strategy for an existing, potential, or future dispute.

Our property litigation team stands out from its competitors due to its depth of knowledge and experience. Even some of the junior members of our team have close to ten years of experience, and our partners considerably more.

Partners Stuart Jacobs and Laura St-Gallay, in particular, have a greater understanding of compulsory purchase proceedings, having acted for the Euston Estate in the proceedings brought by the Secretary of State for Transport in the Upper Tribunal regarding the acquisition of the buildings in front of Euston Station, acquired for the HS2 high-speed railway linking London, the Midlands, the North and Scotland.

We have many long-standing relationships with estate portfolios, developers and businesses, acting on their behalf regarding disputes with landlords, tenants and contractors.

The team handles a broad range of commercial and residential real estate and landlord and tenant disputes; where possible, we use alternative dispute resolution methods (such as mediation and arbitration) and the courts and tribunals.

Our team has extensive construction dispute experience and acts for developers and contractors. You can rely on us to guide you through any enforcement of awards, adjudication and/or arbitration process.
