Rasha Jassim

Property Solicitor

Rasha joined RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) LLP in January 2026 as a Property Solicitor in the real estate team.

She trained with a boutique shipping firm in London, qualifying in shipping law and advising on shipbuilding, ship sale and purchase, and ship financing. After several years in practice, Rasha transitioned into commercial property, bringing with her a strong transactional background and a commercial, detail-driven approach.

Rasha advises a broad client base including private individuals, private companies, commercial landlords and tenants, developers, high-net-worth individuals and lenders. Her experience covers acquisitions and disposals of commercial, agricultural and residential property, as well as commercial leases and farm business tenancies.

She also regularly advises on property-related financing arrangements, personal guarantees, overage, pre-emption and option agreements, first registrations of land, auction sales and purchases, easements, licences, consents and deeds of variation.

Rasha has experience advising commercial landlords and tenants on the grant, renewal and assignment of commercial leases, as well as farm business tenancies.
