Anam Mohammed

Paralegal

Anam Mohammed is a dedicated paralegal in the corporate and commercial team at RIAA Barker Gillette (UK). Working closely with Partner and Head of Department Victoria Holland, Anam assists with a wide range of corporate transactions, supporting clients throughout their businesses’ lifecycle. Her experience includes drafting transactional documents and ancillaries for review, managing due diligence, and helping to facilitate the completion of deals.

Alongside her role at the firm, Anam Mohammed obtained her LLB in Law from Brunel University London in 2023, where she specialised in International Arbitration and Commercial Law. She is preparing for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) Part 2 and aims to qualify as a solicitor upon completion.

Anam’s commitment to excellence and continuous learning underscores her ambition to provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal support to clients.

Experience

Anam’s experience extends beyond corporate and commercial law. She previously worked in RIAA Barker Gillette (UK)’s commercial real estate department, gaining invaluable exposure to commercial real estate transactions. This included drafting transactional documents for review and assisting the partner and former head of commercial real estate, John Gillette, with completion and post-completion matters.

While at Brunel University, she served as a Street Law Coordinator, where she developed a strong understanding of client needs and legal outreach, earning an award for her contributions.
