Jamie joined RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) LLP in April 2026 as a Partner in our Dispute Resolution Department. He is an experienced commercial litigator with more than two decades of practice advising clients on complex, high-value disputes in the UK and internationally.
Jamie acts for a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals, family offices, businesses, professional partnerships and insolvency practitioners. His work often involves complex commercial and corporate disputes, frequently with cross-border elements, where a careful strategic approach and clear commercial judgement are essential.
Known for his pragmatic and proactive approach, Jamie works closely with clients to understand the commercial context of each matter and to identify the most effective route to resolution. He has extensive experience in negotiation, mediation and High Court litigation, with a strong track record of resolving disputes efficiently while protecting his clients’ wider commercial interests.

Jamie has extensive experience advising on professional negligence claims and broader risk management issues.
