Solicitor

Ruairidh McKillop is a dual-qualified commercial real estate solicitor, having qualified in England & Wales and Scotland, based in our Central London office. He joined RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) in March 2025 and works closely with Partner and Head of Commercial Real Estate, Brinda Granthrai.

Ruairidh brings extensive experience in renewable energy, rural and commercial real estate law. Having successfully represented a broad range of clients, including landowners, tenants, developers and corporations, he is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the London property market with a fresh perspective and a strong commercial mindset.

His expertise spans acquisitions, sales, and leasing of diverse property types, from industrial estates and office buildings to development land and high-value rural assets such as farms, forests, islands and large estates. His deep understanding of commercial real estate transactions, coupled with his ability to negotiate and draft bespoke legal agreements, including leases, option agreements, deeds of servitude, and variations, ensures he delivers practical, results-driven advice.
