West End law firm RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) is proud to announce its role in representing longstanding client Russell Ambrose in a major share sale of his entire issued shareholding in Eye Hospitals Group Limited to Spanish buyer Castellana Intermediacion Sanitaria, S.L, represented by Stevens & Bolton.

Eye Hospitals Group Limited and its subsidiaries, including Optimax Clinics Limited and Ultralase Eye Clinics Limited, specialise in laser eye surgery and lens surgery. They operate out of over 19 clinics across the UK.

The multi-million-pound transaction, with an earnout potentially worth several million more, was expertly handled by RIAA Barker Gillette (UK)’s corporate and commercial team, led by partner and head of department Victoria Holland. Associate solicitor Evangelos Kyveris and trainee solicitor Grayson Stuckey ably supported Victoria. The commercial real estate aspects of the deal, which included negotiating new leases for the group’s numerous clinics, were overseen by partner and former head of commercial real estate, John Gillette, with support from senior associate solicitor Stella Meytanis.

Russell Ambrose expressed his gratitude, stating,

“Victoria, John, and their teams worked tirelessly to bring the sale to a successful completion. Their commitment, attention to detail, and legal expertise, coupled with their experienced commerciality, were invaluable and ensured the transaction proceeded smoothly with a good outcome for all.”

Victoria Holland commented,

“We are thrilled to have facilitated an excellent outcome for our established and much-valued client and are very proud of the dedication and expertise demonstrated by our teams throughout the transaction.”
