Often, there can be disagreements about who the children should spend Christmas Day with. However, parents have equal status in the eyes of the law, and as such, the best outcome for children is for them to spend equal time with each party at Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This arrangement can become more complex when one wishes to take the children abroad. Ideally, they must obtain the other parent&#8217;s consent, which is mandatory for certain countries. And bear in mind additional measures imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is crucial to try and agree on arrangements as early as possible so the court can make decisions in time for Christmas if required.
